Accounting Society
The mission of the Accounting Society is to create a venue for undergraduate students to explore and further their interests in the major of accounting while making connections with other undergraduates and professionals. Students do not need to be an accounting major to join. The Accounting Society partners on events with UConn's Beta Alpha Psi organization.

Corporate Speaker Series (in partnership with Beta Alpha Psi)
- Different speakers will come in each week and talk to our students about opportunities at their firm, leadership programs, or offer general advice on being successful in the business world. After each meeting, we typically hold a Q&A session with the leaders and save time for networking. It is a great way to get to know more about each company and get facetime with potential interviewers!

Highlights
Partnership with Beta Alpha Psi
The Accounting Society works very closely with UConn's Beta Alpha Psi organization. Beta Alpha Psi is a professional business organization known nationally. Due to the membership requirements to become a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting Society is a place where all students can have access to many of the same developmental opportunities and benefits a member of Beta Alpha Psi would. Beta Alpha Psi schedules and plans for different speakers each week to come in and talk to our students about opportunities at their firm, leadership programs, or offer general advice on being successful in the business world. After each meeting, we typically hold a Q&A session with the leaders and save time for networking. It is a great way to get to know more about each company and get facetime with potential interviewers!
