Honors Scholar Course Requirements for Business Majors

Unless otherwise noted in your preliminary Honors plan of study, approved by your Business Honors Advisor, all Business majors should plan to complete their Honors Scholar requirements with the following credits:

• Twelve (12) Honors credits in the major or related:
  • 6 credits: Two 3-credit Business Core courses, dedicated honors sections (not conversions), ideally one of which is your major's foundational course
  • 3 credits: MENT 4900/4902 dedicated honors section (not conversion)
  • 3 credit: Honors thesis or Honors Leadership Seminar course
• Three (3) additional Honors credits in the major or related earned at any level
  • 3 credits: Honors section of Business critical or gen-ed
