School of Business First Term Advising - Fall 2025

Welcome to the First Term Advising Program for students in the School of Business!Student working alone on laptop

This virtual, asynchronous program is designed to support you as you begin your academic journey. Advising is a required step for all first-term Business students, and this program will help you:

  • Understand key academic requirements
  • Explore your major’s plan of study
  • Get ready for Spring course registration

You can complete the modules at your own pace and on your own schedule. Plan for 60 minutes to complete the three steps outlined below.  We recommend finishing these steps during mid-September, so you’ll have plenty of time to schedule your Peer Mentor meeting for September or October, ahead of registration.

Next Steps:

  • Follow the instructions provided
  • Complete all modules
  • Schedule a follow-up meeting with your Peer Mentor

Please note, a Business Advising Enrollment Hold will be placed on your record and will be lifted once you’ve completed all steps.

If you have any questions along the way, we’re here to help! Feel free to stop by during our Drop-In Advising Hours.  We’re excited to support you this semester!
