Get To Know Business Student Orgs - Virtually!

Engaging beyond the classroom is an important part of your development as a student and professional. In addition to offering the opportunity to network, student organizations strengthen leadership skills, teach time management, and are a great way to build friendships. UConn offers 400+ clubs and organizations, and we have 30+ student organizations that partner directly with the School of Business to help business students connect with each other.

Business student orgs have gathered virtually to create a master list of asynchronous content that will help you explore what they have to offer. Participating student organizations have each provided a short video about themselves. Watch the included video introductions to the groups to learn what they do, or click to visit their website to read more

Our organization will provide students with important knowledge needed to pursue start up business ventures. At UConn, most business clubs seem to be focused on building specific skills needed to get hired for a position at an existing company. We aim to inspire and cultivate the spark within those students who want to create their own businesses. It is very difficult for startups to compete with large existing corporations, that's why it is so crucial to create a club that will encourage students to not be intimidated, and how to carefully and strategically enter into an existing industry.
