Academic Experience

The seven-week (10-credit) summer program runs at the Storrs campus from approximately May 8th through June 22nd and is open to non-Business undergraduate students with sophomore status or higher.

Students who have already taken one of the three fundamentals courses (BADM 3720/BLAW 3175, BADM 3740/MGMT 3101, or BADM 3760/OPIM 3103) may participate in the program but those who have taken more than one may not.

Business Fundamentals Summer Program and Minor

UConn students who are not currently in the School of Business who participate in the Business Fundamentals Summer Program may pursue a Minor in Business Fundamentals that would show on your UConn transcript by taking two additional 3-credit business courses that complete the minor. If you have the necessary prerequisites, you can complete the minor this summer by taking BADM 2710/ACCT 2101 and BADM 3750/MKTG 3101 which may be offered in summer session 2.

Non-UConn students who participate in the Business Fundamentals Summer Program, upon completion of the required courses, may request a transcript indicating completion of the Business coursework.
