Peer Advisors 2017-2018
Our Peer Advisors are current undergraduate business students. They play a vital role in helping to assist advising our first year students. You may also meet with one of them during walk-in hours! They are highly trained and very knowledgeable students who all have a variety of experiences in student groups, studying abroad, internships, and leadership opportunities. What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: While I'm not a Business student anymore, I like how everyone really tries to help each other with classes.
Fun Fact: I have seen over 50 artists in concert. My favorite concert was Justin Timberlake & The Weeknd.

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: I really like how all the business common body of knowledge classes overlap in topics but teach them from different perspectives. Learning about a topic like negligence from my risk management, business law and marketing professors help to give you a well rounded perspective of key concepts.
Fun Fact: I studied abroad in Lund, Sweden during the Fall 2016 semester.

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: As a business student, I enjoy the variety of real-world opportunities available to students outside of the classroom. Whether it be networking with alumni from visiting companies or participating in case competitions, there are a number of ways to gain skills that supplement what is learned in the classroom. These experiences have been extremely helpful in preparing me for my internships and my professional life after UConn.
Fun Fact: I have traveled to 11 countries (including Italy where I studied abroad at Paderno del Grappa).

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: Being a business student, I have most enjoyed getting an understanding of the world of business and it's many dynamics, as well as components. Throughout life, we are constantly surrounded by companies and corporations that we interact with, but have no in-depth understanding of their internal processes. I love that as a business student, I can actually understand how these companies and corporations work, which I can one day utilize to start my own!

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: I love the close, family-like environment that the business school offers from the very first day of orientation! Every single staff member is always willing to help or listen, but I love that, as a business student, I am also trusted to take personal responsibility for my life!

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: I most enjoy all of the opportunities to network with and learn from those who have graduated UConn and now work at the kinds of companies I want to work for when I graduate. Not having class on Friday is a huge upside as well!

What I Enjoy Most About Being a Business Student: Being a business student here at UConn has provided me with the tools to grow immensely both professionally and personally. I am constantly challenged to develop my critical thinking skills, as I apply myself to real-world scenarios that I will surely face in my future career. In addition, there are always networking opportunities with other students, faculty, alumni, and employers that foster the formation of lasting connections that will ensure my success. I know that once I graduate from the School of Business I will beyond prepared to take on a position in the marketing field.
